And a pretty room it was!  Equipped with a big giant king size bed, comfy chair and ottoman, desk, 26” flat screen HD TV, cable, coffee maker.. etc. What more could a girl ask for? Oh and the pillows.. 6 glorious pillows that I melted into, those were nice.

After freshening up my makeup, and fluffing my hair (I was in the south after all..) I headed back downstairs to meet up with the rest of the girls.

Now here comes the fun part!  When I arrived outside of the elevator there were a few other ladies waiting, so when the first car came, I let them get on and decided to wait.  Good thing too, as who do I stand next to when I get on my car?  Jen Lancaster herself!  Of course, me being the shy idiot that I am, couldn’t muster up anything more than “Hi”.. Duhhhh!  The sad part is, she’s the sole reason I wanted to GO to BlissDom09 to begin with..

We all headed into the main ballrooms to get started.  I met a great bunch of folks at my table but mostly talked to John Andrews from Walmart, I was pretty surprised to see a guy at this conference! But upon looking around some more, found a couple others.  Walmart was a sponsor of the conference, so I suppose that is why he was there.  But after talking to him a bit more, he’s a blogger and twitter-er as well! 

After the “Opening Holla” we all headed off to our respective learning sessions.  I attended “Blogging 101” and “Social Media”, both on the apprentice level (Will get more into that later..) and had a good time hearing what everyone had to say and took notes to make a few changes to my blog when I get home.

Next up - Cocktail party, dinner with a stranger and flaking on the PJ party..
