Just when I thought the worst was over with having to start Physical Therapy yesterday ...
Now I won’t even be able to DRIVE myself to physical therapy…
Last night while cooking dinner (grilled burgers and sausages) I fell off the back porch step and sprained my right ankle pretty badly. I was home alone which didn’t help and the dang phone was in the living room… and of course the dog got all sorts of excited to see me on the ground with him and I was sobbing in pain.. had to crawl into the house.. then I couldn’t get ahold of Mike because was in phone la la land.. ugh.. When I finally did get him on the phone, I think I was still in hysterics “OMGCOMEHOMENOWITHINKITSBROKEN!!@#!@&$&*^*”
So he came home and dealt with the grill and stove still being on, dealt with the dog and got me in the car.. 3 hours at the ER later and I have a fancy ankle air splint thingie and crutches. Not awesome.
Hopefully this heals fast, I can not be on crutches for long living in a 2 story house.. Ughh.

But the good news is I’m pretty sure Cami’s house is handicapped accessible for Camp Naughty. :D
So sorry about the fall (and the frantic dog). Looking forward to meeting you!

Ouchy!! Sounds painful! I’m so sorry you were home alone, dang! I’ve actually broken bones in the past, and believe me, it’s not fun. Imagine teenagers Jim and Chris Killian trying to lug an overweight Becka down the side of a mountain because I’d fallen and broken my ankle on the hillside… That was NOT fun. Of course, they’re both stronger now than they were then, however, I’m also heavier. Hahahah! I guess it balances out.
Long story short - if you ever ask Becka to go hiking, said trail must be relatively level with no soft dirt. LOL
