So we splurged, and bought Rock Band today ..
It pretty much kicks ass.. We played it for over 2 hours before realizing that time had gone by incredibly fast, and we hadn’t eaten dinner..
Mike is very good at the guitar part (he was pretty good at Guitar Hero II as well) .. and I pretty much suck at all of it.. Okay, so I can KIND of do the bass… I can do some of the drums on EASY, but not too well.. and I can sing.. I don’t sound good, but I can hit the right pitch, so the game thinks I’m awesome. I gotta say though, the drums are HARD… seriously.. the kick pedal about kills your foot… makes me feel like I’m going to get tarsal tunnel (can you get that? instead of carpal?) ... crazy stuff..
In fact, it’s now 1:07am, and Mike is rocking out to some Nirvana…

So do you have to buy like every instrument or something? How do you play this crazy (obviously Japanese) game?

The game comes with 1 guitar, 1 set of drums and 1 microphone. We already had a guitar from Guitar Hero 2.. It’s fun stuff
