I’m typing out this post as I sit on my plane from SUNNY Nashville to Houston at the tail end of my first vacation of 2009. What did I do on my vacation you wonder? Well, I spent a fantastic weekend attending The BlissDom09 Blogger Conference put on by the wonderful folks over at Blissfully Domestic and The One 2 One Network.
This post is looking to be quite long, so I’ll be breaking it out into smaller chunks over the next few days.
Lets back up to Friday morning shall we? After getting a delicious breakfast at The Waffle House, I wandered over to The Opry Mills Mall and did some window shopping for a while to kill some time before heading over to The Hotel Preston to check in for the conference.
Upon arriving at The Hotel Preston I found that it was still too early to check in to my room, so instead I checked into the conference getting my badge and my cool bag of goodies, including a coupon for a free pair of Crocs, a book about blogging, a box of Little Debbie 100 calorie snack packs, 2 cd samplers (Chris Mann and Thriving Ivory), the “He’s Just Not That Into You” soundtrack and some other great info! I also got to meet the editor of Blissfully Delish which was exciting since I’m going to start posting over there (soon!).
I got my goodies and sat down to check on my email and twitters via computer (much easier than blackberry at times). I was quickly invited up to the room of the one and only Secret Agent Mama to hang out for a bit. I started to relax once I had SOMEONE to talk to, so that was nice
I hung out with my new favorite photographer for a bit just chatting about ourselves and life while she got her stuff ready and got even prettier for the other ladies. When she was just about ready, I called down to the front desk to see if I could check in to my room, and I could so I was excited about that! Got my key to good old room 420 and headed up to freshen up.
More tomorrow ...

I so wish that I knew that you were in “420”! We’d have totally laughed about that…
It was a pleasure to talk with you and have you over to my room.
You are definitely on my reader now, sweetness!

Oh yes, I should’ve told you that.. it was funny, I totally giggled when I got my key.
My room was identical to yours though, but my pictures were different..
It was fun hanging out, we’ll have to do it again in ‘10
